Randy and son Cody with Marine Family

We would like to give a shout-out to Randy and Ginger Clark, who recently orchestrated a Military Appreciation event at Marine Corps Air Station, New River, Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, NC.

This unique event doubled as an antique boat show, “to bring people together with a common interest in historic, antique and classic boats, sharing fellowship, information, experience and exchange of ideas.”

We were honored to donate six magnums of Jarhead Red to the event. In Ginger’s recap, she wrote, “We held our ‘Pot Luck’ auction where the boaters had brought in an item to be put for auction.  We had a vintage wooden slalom ski, handmade crafts, decorative items, two large seascape framed prints, tools, bags, boat glassware, a Chris-Craft advertisement signed by Chris Smith and six magnum bottles of Jarhead Red wine which had been part of a donation to us by Curtis Winery, which also included T-shirts and ball caps! Jarhead Red is a wine made for Marines by Marines, with portions of the proceeds going to a scholarship fund for the children of fallen Marines…We collected over $700 dollars for Wounded Warriors – OoRAH.”

You can read Ginger’s full story about the event on WoodyBoater.com. Thanks to the Clarks for their support of our military!

A Wall of Jarhead Red at Henderson Hall

Monday, May 9th, 2011

Here’s a shot of a Jarhead Red end cap from the store at the USMC’s Henderson Hall installation in Virginia. Looks like they’ll be well stocked for summer barbecues!

Thanks to our sales team and friends out there for supporting Jarhead Red and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
